Hello and Welcome to The ART Studio GA!

I'm Melissa Ray and I am so glad you stopped by to see what the studio is all about!

I host "fun art" paint parties! I offer different activities for different groups.

Monday and Tuesday the studio is closed for private events and on location events. So, if you are having a team building event, school field trip, family reunion, ladies fellowship, or other event contact me and I will get you all set up!

Hours of Operation: Wednesday through Saturday

​

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for different classes (see below schedule)

3:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. for the After School Art Club (ages 5-12)

6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for Evening Paint (all ages)   

                      

• WEDNESDAYS are a special time for either the little ones or homeschooling families to get creative with their caregiver between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Feel free to leave early if needed. Please RSVP your attendance. It helps with preparation and material building. 

            "Toddler Time" on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month.

            "Homeschoolers" on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays.

• THURSDAYS are for our "Super Seniors" from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Anyone over 30 and/or well behaved. ;-) There are no children in studio during this session.

• FRIDAYS are for "Open Paint" at 11:00-1:00 p.m. - your choice. All ages welcome.

• SATURDAYS are great for Birthday Parties! Book 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. I offer canvas paint parties, Build a Buddy stuffed animal options or "Use of Space" rental. I help you plan the perfect party with themes and your decorations.

I also host private parties outside of studio hours to accommodate your needs. I love hosting events that you are sure to enjoy! If your business is looking to increase traffic or you just want some great team building, making 'Fun Art' is a hit!

​A little bit more about the class sessions:

• Toddler or Homeschool Wednesdays are $25 per child. Toddlers enjoy a 2 hour window of studio time, discovery play, snack and art. Homeschool students may choose an 8x10 canvas or small project for this fee. Larger pieces at an additional fee. All are welcome to enjoy play time, snack and "fun art". Both sessions are designed to grow your community. These are not drop off sessions. Please RSVP.

• Kid's Art Club happens Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3:00-5:15 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday are directed learning of different art elements and exploration of different mediums. Friday is an open studio concept, where the kiddos are free to create what they want. We pull out all materials for them to be imaginative creators or they can pick from items in the Project Room. We always have a great time with games, play, snack and "fun art". $35/day W-F. Call, text or email to register.

• 3rd Saturdays are for Kid's Day Camp. We host a 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. themed camp, where you can drop the kiddos off for a morning full of fun art, play and snack. $50. per child. Call, text or email to register. ON HOLD FOR 2026.

• Online Learning Days- UCS has the following Fridays as Online Learning (8/29/25, 10/10/25, 11/24/25, 2/13/26, 3/13/26, & 4/3/26) and I will open the studio 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. to help the parents and the kiddos have some "fun art" on these days. $50 per day. Snack, drink, play and "fun art" projects are provided. Call, text or email to register.

• Summer or School Break Camps are provided M-F 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. with a different theme each week. Each week cost $235 or $50 per day. Call, text or email to register. Friday is Open House where parents and family come at 12:00 dismissal to see and celebrate all of the art created throughout the week. It is always a great time of "Show and Tell". Camps will be announced the first week of May 2026.​

I help take the fear out of creating a painting by pre-tracing the canvas on most items. As I like to say, "We make Fun Art, not Fine Art". I help you enjoy the process of putting paint to canvas. My hope is that you will feel relaxed by letting go of those fears as you create your own masterpiece.
